New Album Cover & Release Date:
Kanye West - Yeezus
It’s is Yeezy Season everyone! The last past weekend Ye’ has been everywhere. On Friday Ye premiered his video “New Slaves” by projecting the video on 66 buildings in 10 different cities around the world. On Saturday he performed “New Slaves” and another new track “Black Skinhead” on SNL. And now the Yeezus’ cover and release date has been confirmed. It’s rumored that Ye’ worked with people like S1, Frank Ocean, Skrillex, Young Chop, Chief Keef, Travi$ Scott, King L, and Pusha T. Be on the look out for his 6th album that drops on the 18th of June.
Ye’ also seems to take the whole Yeezus thing serious. Strangely, 13 out of the 14 tracks have a run-time of 3:02 with the final 14th track one being 3:01. He seems to be elevating the game to new heights with Matthew 3:02 of the King James Version of the Holy Bible ironically reading: “And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” 6th album, 66 different buildings? Can’t wait to hear how this album sounds.
